VTB Bank’s IFRS net profit rises to 170.6 bln rbl in Jan–Jun
MOSCOW, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s second biggest bank VTB rose to 170.6 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a statement on Friday.
In April–June, the net profit of the bank grew to a record high of 85.5 billion rubles.
VTB increased its net profit outlook for 2021 to 295 billion rubles from 250–270 billion rubles.
In January–June, the bank’s retail loans rose 2.2% to 4.3 trillion rubles, and corporate loans grew 10.8% to 9.5 trillion rubles.
